Speed and simplicity, two of the main advantages of TRAD UK’s PLETTAC METRIX system, as Vision Scaffolding Solutions Ltd of Southampton quickly found out on this project in Southampton’s docklands area.
Standing at 6m high and 150m long complete with supporting buttresses, with the main scaffold consisting of a foot-tie lift, two decked lifts and two intermediate structural lifts, this access gantry was erected by five operatives in only four days to allow for access to stacked shipping containers.
Erected in January 2020, from concept to completion this project was the epitome of efficiency. The PLETTAC METRIX system was chosen for the value it added to the project after much thought and due diligence by the team at Vision.
With time limitations being a major factor in the decision process, the judgement was proved to be the correct one, with the project being complete and handed over to the client a full week earlier than had previously been estimated, again proving why PLETTAC METRIX is arguably the safest and quickest system on the market.
