THE NEW ALL-IN-ONE EDGEGUARD ROOF EDGE PROTECTION SYSTEM.
EASIER. SAFER. SMARTER.
TRAD is one of the UK’s leading roof edge protection brands and the All-In-One EdgeGuard system is one of the most versatile, innovative designs we’ve ever produced. Flexible enough to adapt for temporary use and built to last for permanent use, it gives builders and building management teams a simple all-in-one solution.
We’ve applied our knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations to ensure production meets all the Standards you rely on, whilst also reducing one of the common trip hazards found on temporary roof edge systems – a heavy counterweight on the feet. From the galvanised or optional powder-coated finish to the adaptable, minimal components, every detail has been considered to give it the edge.
All-In-One EdgeGuard’s new innovative design goes up quickly on any flat roof up to 10°, providing reliable fall protection without the need for any specialist tools. And when the system’s not in use, it offers the flexibility of a folding solution.
We’ve designed the All-In-One EdgeGuard to be as easy as possible to handle and install. You don’t need any specialist tools and the standard system components weigh 20 kg or less, with the lightweight guardrail poles slide easily through the post centres to create a freestanding rail that is designed to last. So, with minimal training pretty much anyone can get it up and running quickly.
All components are treated with a tough, galvanised finish and are tested with the results independently validated and verified, so they comply with all regulations for working at height. Its clever cantilevered design means the slim foot bases are simply held in place with a rubber mat – also meaning there’s no damage to the roof surface.
The All-In-One EdgeGuard concept is designed to give you a more flexible and cost-effective roof safety guardrail solution. Instead of choosing between permanent fall protection equipment and temporary roof edge protection hire, once TRAD All-In-One EdgeGuard is installed as a temporary system, it is a quick and easy adaption to convert to the requirements of a permanent solution. It comes with a large range of fittings to suit different roof designs along with a folding option.
The modular design makes All-In-One Edgeguard easy to fit and adapt. It’s light and easy to erect, with just five main components.
There’s a reason we call it All-In-One EdgeGuard. Tested under extreme conditions, this system is incredibly tough, durable and abrasion-resistant. Once installed, it’s virtually maintenance-free.
It is multi purpose, not just for flat roofs – put the Edgeguard to work on fire escape routes or around hazardous plant machinery, roof lights or other places where access is required. The design means no counterbalance weights are required, and with the slim-line base weights, trip hazards are significantly reduced.
